Molly Hetrick is a Freelance Trainer with The Meeting Institute LLC, based out of Myrtle Beach, SC. The Meeting Institute provides tailored training and development programs that support and contribute to their clients’ goals of maximizing personal and professional performance.
Molly has combined her natural enjoyment for working with people and her educational training to provide quality development sessions with The Meeting Institute. Her experience teaching environmental education in formal and non-formal settings, writing and facilitating workshops for educators, and general love for personal development and professional coaching make Molly a great fit for high energy training sessions. Molly is known for her sunny personality and ability to relate to diverse groups of people.
Molly’s professional background is in the Parks & Recreation and Environmental Education fields. Her early work in state parks and private sector childrens museums, as well as at nature centers and recreation camps, gives Molly a real world view of issues facing recreation and customer service-based business today. Molly’s work with Middle Tennessee State University and State College Area School District to design and provide training for educators has also shaped her love for professional development.
Molly is currently the Supervisor of Millbrook Marsh Nature Center, located in Central Pennsylvania. Her duties include supervising staff, writing program curriculum, incorporating state teaching standards into programs, overseeing programs and events, budgeting, and marketing. Currently, she is also overseeing a volunteer development team that has raised over $700,000 toward a year-round educational building at the nature center.
Molly has a B.S. Degree from The Pennsylvania State University in Agriculture and Environmental Education and earned a PA Teaching Certification. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Recreation and Parks Society and the Association for Nature Center Administrators. Programs overseen by Molly have received two PRPS Excellence in Programming Awards.
Molly lives in Pleasant Gap, PA with her dog and two very fat cats. She spends her free time kayaking, reading, practicing yoga and working on her family genealogy. She has lived in Tennessee and Pennsylvania and loves to travel to new places. Molly strives to lead a natural lifestyle and live lightly on the earth through her eco-conscious choices.
